Current Environmental has assisted in major project approvals through the BC Environmental Assessment Office and Federal Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency. The BCEAO & CEAA require  comprehensive agency reviews that include collaboration between multiple First Nations, other public and private stakeholders, and various provincial and federal government agencies.

Major projects in BC are assessed for potential adverse effects to environmental, social, economic, health, and heritage valued components. Through analysis of these impacts is required to generate suitable avoidance, minimization and mitigation measures, and compensation offset strategies for these major projects to result in no-net-negative harm to valued components.
