Current staff help to remove hazardous tree from Puntledge River

Biologists Rupert Wong and Warren Fleenor teamed up with members of Comox Valley Ground Search and Rescue, K’omoks First Nation Guardian Watchmen, Comox Valley Emergency Program, and Fisheries and Oceans Canada to remove a hazardous tree from the Puntledge River. The tree posed a significant risk to public safety, including tubers who regularly float the river during the summer months. Read the article here.
